Henry Roch ("Rock") Tunaley:
1861 Census: Living with family in Fairland Street, Wymondham. One servant.
1871 Census: Occupation given as Registrar Forehoe District.
Living in Cock Street, Wymondham.
1875-1881: Licensee of White Hart Inn, Wymondham, Norfolk.
An invoice dated 18th. June, 1880 from the "White Hart Commercial Inn", Wymondham, shows that, at the time, Henry was also hiring out horse driven mourning coaches, cabs and dog carts "with steady and experienced drivers".

Given variously on another website (Kelly's Directory for 1883 at http://apling.freeservers.com/Villages/Wymondham.htm) as "fly proprietor" and horse dealer of Fairland St., Wymondham (Wymondham lies directly en route between Norwich and Newmarket), it seems fairly certain Henry had significant dealings with horses at Newmarket as would his second son Thomas (b. 1859) who on the same website is described as "horse breaker". In particular, go to the web page of Henry's third son, the jockey, Robert James Tunaley b. 1861.
