Paul W. Tunaley: Paul studied chemistry at Derby and District College of Technology whilst working at British Rail Technical Centre, Derby until 1969, and Rolls-Royce until 1970, then completed the Grad. RIC course full-time at Salford University in 1970-71. From 1971 till 1998 worked for the Central Electricity Generating Board (which became National Power in 1991) at a number of power stations, achieving the position of chief chemistry and environment manager at West Burton (Notts) from 1990 to 1995. From 1996 to 1998 worked as Commissioning Chemist on a new power station near Karachi, Pakistan. Became a Chartered Chemist in 1975 and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (C.Chem, FRSC) in 1994. Since 1998, self-employed as an Environmental Consultant to the power industries. |
